Milton Keynes is more than capable of competing with the ‘Big 6 cities’, offering cultural and sporting attractions, excellent transport connections and a pool of graduates from Universities nearby.
A newly published report provides more information to the growth and success of Milton Keynes.
A prime example of a large organisation that has used the growth of Milton Keynes to their advantage is Network Rail who made a brave move in 2012, closing 15 of its regional offices and downsizing expensive offices in Manchester and London. Network Rail claim to have made savings of approximately £20Million a year since their move to purpose built ‘Quadrant’ building.
Milton Keynes actually offers companies great value for money, with current rents for prime office space in the city currently quoted at £23 per sq ft, as opposed to £30 in Cambridge and Reading, £35 in Birmingham, £60 to £80 in London for the equivalent ‘grade A’ space.
AW James will begin marketing a new building in early 2017 that will sit opposite Central Milton Keynes train station and close to Network Rail and Santader Headquarter buildings.
Our aim is to deliver a landmark building which will provide a positive contribution to the Milton Keynes skyline and offer much needed high quality office space to support the growing city centre.
